Terms of Service
Last updated 30 April 2026
1. Who operates this service
Quiver is developed and operated by Allan Noer, a private individual residing in Denmark. By downloading the app or using the website, you enter into a binding agreement with Allan Noer under these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
Questions about these Terms can be sent to allan@noer.biz.
2. What Quiver is
Quiver is a bike fleet management application for iOS and Android. It lets you track bicycles, log ride distances, monitor component wear, and plan maintenance. The Service is provided free of charge, without advertisements.
Quiver is a personal side project. It is not operated by a registered company. There are no service-level guarantees, uptime commitments, or formal support contracts.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Quiver. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide a valid email address and must not impersonate another person or create accounts for malicious purposes.
You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data from our systems within 30 days.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or to the underlying infrastructure.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code or data of the Service.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
6. Your data
You own all data you enter into Quiver — your bikes, components, rides, and notes. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.
By using the Service, you grant Allan Noer a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This licence ends when you delete your account.
For details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Strava integration
Quiver optionally integrates with Strava. If you connect your Strava account, your use of Strava is also governed by Strava's Terms of Service. We are not affiliated with Strava Inc. and cannot be held responsible for any changes to Strava's API or service availability.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Allan Noer does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
In particular: Quiver's wear calculations and maintenance reminders are estimates based on the data you provide. They are not a substitute for professional mechanical inspection. Never rely solely on the app to determine whether a bike is safe to ride.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Allan Noer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, property damage, or equipment failure.
The total liability of Allan Noer to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. As Quiver is currently provided free of charge, this amount is zero.
10. Changes to the service
Allan Noer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice through the app or by email. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark, with the court having jurisdiction over Allan Noer's place of residence as the venue of first instance.
